MORNING PRAYER

Thank you, Father, for safely taking us through the dark of night into the light of this morning.  Father, as we face this new day, we ask that all we do bring us closer to you.  May all our actions and thoughts of this day be pure and filled with your love and mercy. 

Dear Father, send us today those you want us to touch; those who need your words to be spoken to them today.  Speak through us and use us this day for your glory and honor.  And, dear Father, when we fall and stumble on our journey today, send us your Holy Angels to gently lift us and place us back on the path to you.  And let us live this day as though it is our last day, and if, dear Father, you call us home today, may we be prepared to meet you face to face. Amen.
