The Rita Marie Huntzinger Prayer and Memorial Garden is a celebration of life and thanksgiving to God for what he has freely given.

Rita Marie Huntzinger was born on September 16, 1996, and during her short life here on earth, God used her to make a big impact. Rita was one of God's children that gave absolute joy and love to those around her. Rita was born with a hole in her heart. In March of 1997, Rita entered Dallas Children's Hospital for surgery. During the twenty-five days in the hospital, Rita's parents and several AFM members were able to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus through action and in word. Many doctors, nurses, and parents were touched, and three children were baptized. Rita died on Holy Thursday, March, 27, 1997.
In April of 1997 a word of knowledge was given from the Lord which stated that "Rita prays constantly to the Father, for the aborted children and those born hungry and without love". It was not until later the significance of this was realized when the Almighty and Merciful God sent Rita to minister to several adults who were "resting in the spirit" or visiting the garden. Those who were touched and healed were adults who had needed the love of their parents, and had not received it. God in his mercy and wisdom will send his angels and saints, and sometimes little girls, to minister to us on earth.
We hope while you are in the garden, dedicated to God's glory, that the Lord might allow you to feel Rita's love and God's peace.
