 | (click here to see larger crest) At the heart of our ministry crest, or logo, is the cross of Christ. It is firmly planted on the shield of our faith. This shield is rich with symbolism. It includes the liturgical colors of our Church, the dove and flames representing the Holy Spirit; and a blue-haloed diamond representing our Blessed Mother. This precious shield is wrapped in our heavenly Mother's jeweled mantle, indicating her Queenship over heaven and earth.
Just above the shield sits the helmet of salvation, and springing up from the helmet are beautiful green leaves which symbolize new life in Christ. The Sword represents the Word of God, with a crown and eagle on the handle. As you raise this sword, you will discover who you are as the prince or princess (son or daughter) of the King of Kings. The 3 jewels on the base of this crown represent the Trinity (as many other groups of 3 in the drawing), and the bands of jewels on the handle represent the 12 tribes of Israel. The eagle-shaped handle represents soaring spiritually to the highest heights.
The cross and crown of the Trinity at top of the crest symbolizes the Kingship of God, and the small globe on top of the crown symbolizes Jesus' Kingship over the whole world. |

The belt of truth as mentioned in Ephesians 6 is the base of the crest. It is buckled with the Star of David, that we may worship God with the heart of David. Our Lord as the Alpha and Omega enclose "AFM", since our God is always before us and is also always at our rear guard. The lilies of St. Joseph and the Rose of our Blessed Mother are the characteristic "fragrances" which always accompany our ministry.
